I arrived in Edinburgh at 8:00 am on July 5th, 2016.  Following a short nap, I grabbed my camera gear and headed out.  The temperature was in the high 50’s with a light rain falling.

I arrived in Belfast, UK early Saturday, June 18, 2016.  After a nap, I took a “Black Cab” Tour of Belfast.  http://belfastblackcabtours.co.uk/.  The following morning, I took the Giant’s Causeway Tour arranged by  McComb’s Coach Tours. https://www.mccombscoaches.com/tours/giants-causeway-tour .

I departed Newark 7:55 pm on June 3rd and arrived in Glasgow, Scotland 6 hours and 55 minutes later.

A two day layover coupled with beautiful weather and a 13 hour bus tour resulted in a lot of pictures.  So, grab your favorite beverage and put on your favorite Scottish music (theme from Outlander comes to mind) and sit back and enjoy.

I left Newark around 8:00 pm on May 21, 2016 and arrived in Manchester, UK at approximately 7:30 am on the 22nd.  I had a 49 hour layover, so I planned on touring Manchester on the 22nd and then take a train to Buxton, UK on the 23rd.

I left Newark at 8:30pm May 15, 2016 and arrived in Barcelona at 10:15am the next morning. It was a beautiful cloudless sky with temperatures in the mid 60s. I had already mapped out my planned itinerary so once I arrived at our layover hotel I changed, grabbed my camera and headed out.

     I’ve been fascinated with astronomy for a long time and one of my goals is to capture photographs of the Milky Way. I took an online course last year from KelbyOne.com titled, “Photographing the Moon, Stars, and Milky Way” by Jennifer Wu.

I won’t be flying international for a few months and I wanted to keep the blog active, so I put together this video.

My friend Skeet and I were planning on flying the Cessna 172 to scout photography locations.

We were riding our motorcycles to the Williston Airport to get the airplane when I received a text saying the airplane had gone down for maintenance and wouldn’t be available for two days.

So, we rode motorcycles instead…..
