Key West – October 2016
I just returned from a week in the Florida Keys and took a lot of pictures of the gorgeous scenery. Here are a few:
The circle marks the Bluewater Key RV resort where we stayed while in the Keys.
This is the view looking southeast. US 1 is not in view off to the left.
The view from our campsite looking north. The bridge in the distance is US 1.
The view at night.
A few days later, we took a flight on Key West Seaplane Adventures to the Dry Tortugas National Park. This picture is at the Key West Airport and we are waiting to board.
It took about 30 minutes to fly the 70 miles to the Dry Tortugas National Park https://www.nps.gov/drto/index.htm and this is the view of Fort Jefferson.
Our aircraft is partially beached as the pilot awaits the outbound passengers for their flight back to Key West.
A beach in the Dry Tortugas National Park.
Loggerhead Key Lighthouse in the Dry Tortugas National Park.
Our plane coming back to pick us up.

The following day, we met up with a “backcountry” guide at “Cudjoe Bay Boat Rentals” and explored the area north of US 1 out to the Gulf of Mexico.

Nice Captain!! Will use these for my wallpapers.
Great pictures of professional quality. Evokes memories of those beautiful islets. Makes me wish I was there.
Well done, Rob!

Thanks Stephen, I appreciate it!
