Dublin, Ireland June 4, 2017 Walking the Cliff Trail from Bray to Bridgestones
I left Newark 10:30 pm on June 3rd and arrived in Dublin, Ireland the next morning at 9:45. It was a beautiful cloudless sky in Dublin and I had already decided that sleep could wait; I wanted to hike the Cliff Trail from Bray to Greystones.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I promptly changed, grabbed my camera gear and headed out.
It was about a 15 minute walk to the Pearse DART station in Dublin. I caught the next train to Bray arriving about 35 minutes later.
Here is a map with Dublin, Bray, and Greystones depicted.
I got off the train in Bray and walked about 10 minutes to the beach. The beginning of the Cliff Trail is at the other end of this beach.

From here I walked to the Brownstones train station and caught DART back to Dublin. It was a beautiful hike and the weather and scenery could not have been better.
Great pictures, Rob! I really get a feel for how it is there in Northern Ireland. How long was the walk all together, and how many miles?
Thanks for posting!
The total walk was right at 5 miles and I was gone about 5 hours. Of course, I was going slow; taking pictures and enjoying the scenery!
Very nice Captain!
